Fond memories of so much fun we had at MOFAD affirming an unofficial club of Black Women Culinary Entrepreneurs on a fab day that cosmically turned out to be INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’s DAY !
We were all nourished by Chef Lexis’ SHOE BOX LUNCH (which featured Chef Carla’s famous biscuits recipe + a black eyed pea & sweet potato salad.
Our mind & imaginations were also fed and furthered with beautifully Black-authored culinary books by @bembrooklyn’s on-site space at MOFAD’s “African/American: #MakingTheNationsTable exhibit at @theafricacenter….
