I wish you could enjoy these highlights from a wonderful visit to @melville_winery as much as we enjoyed visiting this beautiful vineyard & estate winery in the Santa Rita Hills of Santa Barbara, CA . Pics from time my sister and i took our Mom on a surprise bday weekend get away — with special stops & experiences that brought to life just a few of her fave things: ART, BOTANY... and yes yours truly was in charge of the WINE leg of the trip. With a ‘lil help from my bff sister friend @bewitchinglee who helped me to ultimately choose Melville, luckily where we landed among the many miles of options i’d mapped out...PERFECT choice! beautiful location with reeaaally well made, deliciously sustainable wines — AND they practice organic farming too! a rare and important thing to point out (and support!) in the context of California wine making at large.
