Fireside Feast! Thurs June 6th | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join me along with a few of my fave culinary history cronies at the Hendrick I. Lott House for a Fireside Feast! The historic Flatlands houses (Wyckoff and Lott Houses) are hosting an evening of hearth cooking, spirits tasting, eating, drinking, and merriment! The menu will reflect 19th-century recipes, including a bread recipe from the Lott family and locally grown produce and herbs from the Wyckoff garden. Influences from historic and contemporary immigrant communities in Flatlands will be highlighted, including recipes from the Lott family cookbook. In collaboration with the Wyckoff House Museum, featuring dishes cooked on an open hearth by Hearth Chef Zach and historical culturally-rooted cocktails with me/TFG, the Food Griot, Tonya Hopkins.
